Thyme oil is obtained by steam distilling the herb.
The healing effect of thyme oil:
Recommended primarily for coughs (as an expectorant), asthma, colds, inflammation of the tonsils and sinuses, fears and depression. Helps with bacterial and viral infections, rheumatism, skin irritation and hair loss, circulatory disorders, and also has a very rare property – it increases blood pressure. Stimulates appetite.
May cause irritation if applied directly to skin.
Essential oil must be diluted before use.
Keep out of the reach of children.
