Epsom salt, often referred to as bitter salt, is a combination of two elements – magnesium and sulfur. Both elements have a beneficial effect on our health and the condition of the skin and hair.

Magnesium calms the nerves, relieves stress and fatigue, speeds up the recovery of the body, and adds energy. Relieves pain, swelling and muscle spasms.

Sulfur is good for your hair and skin. Prevents hair loss and brittleness. Helps in the fight against dandruff, has antifungal and antibacterial properties. Promotes healing of wounds.

Salt ingredients have strong healing and therapeutic properties.

An Epsom salt bath has a relaxing and cleansing effect, soothes pain and inflammation. Baths additionally cleanse our body, relieve stress and supplement with magnesium, which is necessary to maintain balance in the body.

Application:

Bath: The recommended concentration of a therapeutic salt bath can be 1%, that is, 10 g of salt per 1 liter of water. The time of taking such a bath is 20-30 minutes. In a normal bath, it is recommended to use 150-250g of salt per bath.

The recommended bath temperature for the whole body is about 40 ° C and for certain parts of the body, for example, feet, hands, about 50 ° C.

Hair mask: Dissolve salt in a small amount of water to form a slurry and add a nourishing mask or conditioner. Apply to clean hair and rub well into the scalp. Keep for 15 minutes, then wash off.
